First things first: it's nice to try things on, and we’re confident you’ll love your duoFIT gear whether you’re working out or running errands. But, in case you do need to return an item, we recommend these best practices:

Measure yourself before ordering.
Try on your duoFIT gear and keep the tags on. Also keep your receipt!
Do not remove tags, wash your duoFIT gear, or sweat it out and then decide to return your items. Items that have been worn or washed cannot be accepted for returns.
If, for some terrible reason, your apparel arrives damaged or incorrect, take a photo for reference.
Be patient! We’re a human-run business. This means we care about how duoFIT hugs your bump and we may need time to get everything together for you.
Return Policy: 14 Days from Shipping date with tags still attached.
Just like a mother, we’ll always love you. Our activewear is made to support, endure, and sweat with you. But, if it’s not the right fit, look, or order, we will sweat it out with you to make it right.
You can return any duoFIT products within 14 days from the shipping date as long as the tags are still attached.
What items are eligible to be returned or exchanged?
Please keep your items as fresh as a clean baby. Items must be in their original condition to be returned, meaning the items are unwashed and unworn and still have the tags attached. Unfortunately, items not in this condition will not be accepted. If an item is received damaged or defective, the item may be returned for a replacement upon receipt. Motherhood shouldn’t be stressful—we want you to have the best performance gear possible!
Any clearance or final sale items are non-returnable and non-refundable. But, we hope you enjoy a sweet deal while you workout or run errands.
How long are returns accepted on a new product with tags?
We’ll say it again - don’t remove the tags! Try your item(s) on with the tags attached. If you love your item(s), great! If not, keeping the tags on and not wearing your duoFIT gear beyond try-on will ensure an easy return.
Items that are new, with tags, will be accepted within 14 days of the original shipping date. Please allow 7-12 business days for returned items to be processed from the time of receipt by duoFIT.
How can I receive a refund for my purchase?
Keep that shipping email! Refunds require proof of purchase, like the shipping confirmation email sent to you or the original payment method used for the purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse returns for any item that does not comply with our Return & Exchange Policy.
Late or missing refunds
Haven’t received your refund yet? First, check your bank account. Then, contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you still haven’t received a refund, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve taken the steps above and still haven’t received your refund, contact us at info@builtlikeamother.com, and we can help you try to sort it out.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded, but congrats on scoring high-performance maternity activewear on sale!
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@builtlikeamother.com, and we will provide you with a shipping label.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, then you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return to treat yourself! Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. Feel free to spend it on yourself or give it as a gift.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will notify and send a refund to the gift-giver.
Shipping
New orders that are placed Monday - Friday are typically fulfilled & shipped within 24 hours. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday are fulfilled the next business day and shipped.
To return your product, please e-mail info@builtlikeamother.com to activate the return process, and we will provide you with a shipping label.
Just a heads up that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, it may take a while for your exchanged product to arrive. Just so you know, we’re anxiously awaiting for your items to come, too!
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
